Who is Your Hero?

Tons of people want that whole ‘hero’ thing to happen to them.
They wait for someone to save them.
They pray for someone to be there at the right moment.
They long for someone to sweep them off their feet.
They need someone to make everything better if only for a moment.

Lots of us find that hero underneath a military uniform…or a public service uniform.
Sometimes we see it as stranger who happens to be in the right place at the right time.
If we are fortunate we can find it in a loved one…family member or even a dear friend.

As much as I am lost at times in my own little fantasy world…I see reality everyday around me, I just choose not to linger in it sometimes. Perhaps my head is still in the clouds a bit. Perhaps, I am holding out for someone, something…that doesn’t exist. Then again, most things are all in the perception…right? Maybe, he’s right here in front of me…and because of my desires to hold out…I am missing out.

Maybe he’s the one that makes me smile and laugh…who takes my stress banishes it with his super humor…who tickles me and tells me everything will be alright…as he tackles my worries to the sand and destroys them with one adoring glance.
Could he just be the one who brings out the passion in me intensely through the rain of my sorrows and the thunder of my frustrations…who faces the weather with me head strong, and stands there for endless hours listening to the things that go unsaid with his intuitive insightful ways? Perhaps, he’s held my hand once before, maybe even several times before…and I never realized it.

Why do most of us tend not to see the obvious anymore?
Are we always looking beneath it all…for a flaw, some kind of deception, secrets…lies that may not exist.
It has become our nature to doubt and distrust…so much that when the genuine article stands before us…we don’t recognize it at all.
Hero’s are perfect either…they come in all packages, shapes, sizes…in all kinds of forms that we tend to take for granted more often than not.

I have recently realized that I have been rescued far more than just once.
I have been captured by people so intensely, that it took a hero to save me from them, from myself. Lost in thoughts so intensely, that I over analyzed them and myself…not living in the moment…not seeing the ‘good ‘in front of me…seeing that they are leading me out…if only I would follow their lead. They were the hands that embraced me, held me…and tried to catch me when I fell, when I fall.
They are the true heroes in our lives…the ones that cared enough in that moment to point things out…direct us…lead us…guide us…show us alternatives we just were to blind at the moment to see. They are the ones that shape our lives…made us more conscious of who we are…what we are doing…who we become.

White knights, Prince charming, Hercules and even Superman are nothing compared to these people in my life. A dear friend of mine wrote about these types of heroes…and inspired me to take a deeper look at my own.

Do you have a hero…that is there for you when ya need him/or her?
That keeps you holding on…and teaches you to be stronger?
OR
Are you still holding on…in your dreams and fantasies for someone who may not exist
Or perhaps already does…
And your lack of reality prevents you from seeing yours?

Who is your H E R O?

It’s your fantasy

In our fantasies, no matter how much we struggle to deny it,
We control every frame.

Whether we are standing tall in thigh-high boots or are breathless on our knees…
It is simply a matter of our well-lubricated position.

For some, control is a natural lick of our sub-conscious frame of mind.
Turning us on or off with a simple soft seductive touch or whispered word.
For most, this control is learned and embedded in our heads placing the illusion of physical dominance or submissive desire.

It is what makes our fantasies seem touchable.
It gives us a sense of desire, longing and even hope.
It has us rolling restless beneath our warm sheets or crawling beneath the feet of our dreams.
It lingers in the depths of our imaginations.
Taking us to new sensual heights and inhibiting our limits.
With out it...
Fantasies are just fancy dreams...
and dreams nothing more than a method to our madness.
Control is what keeps us in awe…in an orgasm that will never compare to the hum drum reality we bathe ourselves in.

We bring ourselves to orgasm not with a greased hand or a vibrator,
or because someone has applied the perfect pressure to your clit or dick…
But because…

Your minds take you there.

It pins you to the ground of your naughtiest visions…
And only releases you when the tension explodes.

The sweet release…

Yours

You control every frame…
It’s your fantasy.

Please...don't blink

There is a place…
A beautiful, intriguing place…

One filled with mystery and wishful thinking...
Where the impossible happens
Where “Ever Afters” do exist
Where happiness resides within, despite the darkness that surrounds your dreams.
A place where hope prevails…
Where wishes are cast and fantasy are made.

A place no one has been to…no one knows.
It’s not hard to find.
It’s not hidden in shadows or behind close doors.
It’s open…apparent…and obvious.

Sometimes, others see it…
They catch a glimpse of something that shakes them with disbelief.
Just like a magic corridor… they choose not to enter.
They keep continuing on realities path…keeping their ink inside the lines.
They seem to follow patterns of comfortably…the familiar.
They are so busy seeking repetition from their past…of how their hearts song should sound…what love should be like. They travel so fast they get blinded by their misconceptions and unrealistic ideas of what a relationship should be like. They struggle for more, instead of venturing through …to a place where the incompatible are compatible.
A choice by fear perhaps,
Fear of reality…of a broken heart…of believing in something they can’t see or explain.
A fear of feeling

Perhaps, they never really saw it … after all.
For they claim they are searching but can not see the way in.

It’s new…
But not new to her
She’s has been there before.
Not often.
Not lately
Always alone and feelings never reciprocated

It amazes her that no one has claimed it to be their own, yet.
No one that has seen it and wants to stay…
No one… but her

She adores this place.
She lingers in it from time to time.
It takes her very breathe away.
She could lose herself in it easily.
She could disappear.
It plays with her with happiness.
It consumes her time.
It fills her with hope…hope that makes her strong.

She sits there for hours…admiring the garden of her words and the words of others.
Others who have crossed her path…some several times before…on her way to this place
It feeds her.
Just as the fountain….that endlessly spouts her most personal poetic pieces quenching her minds thirst.
It magically spills onto thin sheets of paper…like that of a fairy’s wings.
She’ll never go thirsty.
Her words will never run dry
As long as she remembers …not ever forgetting this place.
She won’t forget.
She refuses to.

It’s her secret.
She owns it.
Though it’s not untouchable…
No one touches it.
It’s never known love.
At least not from any mortal hand…
But it wants to be touched.
It needs to be found.
Without a companion, a muse, to share it with
The fountain will dry up…
The garden will wilt…
And with it the magic that holds her heart together.
She has to capture a piece of it…it’s the only way
She needs to bring it into her reality…let it shine…shine through her so that they may see.
See that she is beautiful…see that she is happy…see her.

Yes,
There is some…
Some who she feels is worthy of this place
She wants to show them.
She wants them to see what she does.
She wants them to help her capture that happiness permanently and wrap her in it for as long as they are together. She doesn’t know how to, but she is trying.

Every now and then…she escapes and sneaks off to the place…remembering…promising herself she will find a way…a way for them to see her…her shine…how happy she is.
Sometimes, she steals a little piece of that place with her…and wears it if for only a moment. Unfortunately it disappears as they blink…and think.

She now has only one wish…

For them to keep their eyes open…
Please... don’t blink.
